Free WordPress Themes

I’m delighted to reveal my little offshoot project and my first publically released WordPress themes. They’re professional, bright, warm designs, and are fixed width with two columns and ready and loaded for widget users.

(These themes are free to download for personal use (this means you are NOT permitted to use them for ANY commercial site without my prior, written consent). All themes are released under the Creative Commons License. All I ask is that you retain the link back to my site even if you’ve altered the theme. Removal of the link is in breech of the terms of download and, please - don’t steal my work (including CSS and XHTML coding) and pass it off as your own).

Works across all resolutions 1024+ (although may look small in very large res)
Tested on Internet Explorers 5.5, 6 and 7, FireFox 2.x and Opera 9.x.

Spring 2007 Update

Welcome to the Spring 2007 update here at Geek Goddess!

It’s been quite some time since I last updated, but that’s because there’s a been A LOT going on in the background! I’ve been busy designing for some wonderful new clients and together we’ve been working hard to enhance their wonderful ideas and concepts on how best to establish and improve their online presence. I always enjoy what I do, but lately it’s been nothing but a pleasure to put my clients’ ideas into practice - particularly if they are themselves very talented and a pleasure to work with!

Keep an eye on the portfolio - you’ll see the latest few sites showcased soon, as soon as we’ve completed everything and are ready to share with the world. :) I’ve spent so long on them, I’m desperate to show them off!

I’ve kept the good news til last . . . and no, it’s not an April Fool joke!! Before I go, I’d like to share a wonderful new offer with you! A Change of Clothes …

It’s been a little while, but Geek Goddess Designs has finally had a makeover. I think she was due it; the poor thing’s been looking less like a goddess and more like a tramp for quite some time!

To celebrate the new design, I’ve also completely re-structured the site, starting by moving the site from Movable Type to WordPress. As the latter is a) easier to manipulate and b) open source, it’s been on my To Do list for quite awhile. Thanks to WordPress’ amazing capabilities, I’ve also been able to make some fairly extensive changes to the site, including a dynamic portfolio, random testimonials and - last but definitely not least - I’ve finally incorporated a blog!

I hope you like what you see. Feel free to comment and have a good look around. If you come across something that looks dodgy and/or broken. please let me know!
